images that resonate

by observing what often goes unnoticed

Amsterdam based branding & event photography

I’m Emma Pot, a photographer with a journalistic background.
My work focuses on what’s really happening, not just what can be seen.
With a documentary eye, I capture what moves people.

My work is about capturing the essence, real moments that reveal something about people and what drives them. I photograph for cultural organizations, media, and brands.

About

work overview

  • An outdoor scene with a pink and black pavilion with Betty Boop artwork and lettering, people sitting and walking in front of it, and a blue sky with some clouds.

    FESTIVALS & EVENTS

From music festivals to cultural events, I love capturing the buzz, the people, and all those moments that make the day unforgettable. It’s fast-paced, full of surprises, and always inspiring to be right in the middle of it all.

I’ve photographed at Pinkpop, Zwarte Cross, Concert at Sea, Eurosonic, North Sea Jazz, Solar Weekend, Podimo at the Park, Popup Choir and many more…

  • A person standing at a bathroom sink, shaving cream on their face, using a razor to shave, with a colorful patterned curtain, teal wall, and a potted plant in the background.

    branding & identity

I create imagery that brings brands and organisations to life. Whether it’s portraits of a team, campaign visuals or behind-the-scenes stories, I enjoy finding the balance between authenticity and aesthetics.

Here you find work for NPO, NPO Radio 2, Beeld&Geluid, Vitens, Winq

  • A young woman with tattoos, wearing a white t-shirt, shorts, and a backwards baseball cap, sitting alone among empty black stadium seats.

    PORTRAITS & EDITORIAL

For me, portraits are about presence, creating space for someone to just be. I enjoy the calm and focus of these sessions, and how a single expression or glance can reveal an entire story.

A man shaving in a bathroom with soap foam on his face, holding a brush in one hand and a razor in the other, standing at a sink with toiletries. The background includes a teal wall, a framed picture, a plant, and orange tiles. There is text in Dutch saying 'Draai Draai 'm dicht' at the top and 'scheer je huid met de kraan uit' at the bottom, with a Vitens logo.
